Coalition for Preventing Abuse in Klickitat County

The Coalition for Preventing Abuse in Klickitat County (CPAKC) will work to build healthy communities in Klickitat County and reduce the risk and harm caused by abuse. We will promote victim safety, perpetrator accountability and treatment and recovery by working toward these goals of

• Educating the community about all forms of abuse;

• Work toward a Coordinated Community Response;

• Encourage and support agencies that work with or provide treatment to victims of abuse;

• Facilitate the creation, maintenance, and expansion of a County wide abuse resource network;

• Develop funding resources to assist in eliminating all forms of abuse;

• Collect and maintain data on abuse in Klickitat County;

• Work with Law Enforcement and other agencies to reduce or eradicate all forms of abuse;

• To educate the community about prevention programs targeted for youth involvement and education.
